Skin the Cat - Drop

CUES:

  • Start with locked knees and pointed toes and maintain throughout the entire movement.

  • Keep elbows straight the entire set

  • Raise legs as high as possible to create compression before raising hips

  • Descend slowly and create tension through the chest to support in the German hang.

  • Squeeze rings together and support at a position you can maintain for the prescribed time and duration of your sets

  • Let go with both hands simultaneously to drop to feet

MISTAKES:

  • Bending the arms even a small amount is fault at any point

  • Allowing the knees to bend unintentionally at any point

  • Moving too quickly

  • Relaxing in the German hang and holding without tension

  • Failing to go deep enough into German hang to create challenge
