DB Clean - Single Arm

The single arm db clean is a unilateral exercise commonly used for conditioning. It demands anti-rotation and stability as well as providing a powerful metabolic effect.

Cues:

  • You can place the dumbbells between the feet if that is a more comfortable set up for your anatomy

  • Stand and jump the weight to the shoulder and secure it in the front rack as you squat

  • Stand fully before returning to the floor for the next rep

Mistakes:

  • Rounding the back as you go to the floor

  • Failing to squat fully

  • Failing to stand fully

  • Inconsistency between reps
