DB Clean - Single Arm
The single arm db clean is a unilateral exercise commonly used for conditioning. It demands anti-rotation and stability as well as providing a powerful metabolic effect.
Cues:
Start in a deadlift position with the dumbbell on the ground outside of your foot
You can place the dumbbells between the feet if that is a more comfortable set up for your anatomy
Stand and jump the weight to the shoulder and secure it in the front rack as you squat
Stand fully before returning to the floor for the next rep
Mistakes:
Rounding the back as you go to the floor
Failing to squat fully
Failing to stand fully
Inconsistency between reps
