Handstand - Wall Facing Assisted Freestanding
The wall facing handstand is an integral part of the beginner's handstand toolkit. By utilizing light contact facing the wall, one develops the hand strength to control over balance while having the wall for support on under balance.
Cues:
Acquire wall facing handstand position to begin
Use hands to control body position lightly tap wall to find balance
As balance settles into hands bring legs together and hold shape away from wall
Keep toes pointed and assist of tops of toes
Mistakes:
Assisting with under side of toe
Failing to start in a good position that is sustainable for the duration of the set
